Our Story

Lupe’s story begins back in 2012 when they opened their first location in San Diego California. Founders and Owners, Luis and Angelica Gonzalez had a vision to offer a new concept in Mexican cuisine: a taste of traditional Michoacán dishes mixed in with Baja Style seafood topped with a modern culinary influence served in a fast casual restaurant.

With the Help of Chef Cesar Cruz, Lupe’s has been able to perfect their menu selections and expand to multiple cities in Southern California with locations in San Diego, Huntington Beach, and Dana Point.
